What the certificate is
An independently issued credential, publicly verifiable
The Certificate of Verified E-Commerce Seller (SVC-09) is issued by Data Bureau (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. — an independent certification authority responsible for establishing certification standards, conducting formal issuance, and maintaining the public certificate registry.
The certificate confirms that your business is legally registered with ACRA, commercially active across your declared storefronts, and independently assessed. Each certificate carries a unique Certificate ID, is valid for one year, and can be verified instantly by any buyer, brand, or partner via the Data Bureau public registry.
Qallix is the authorised agency through which eligible sellers apply. The application is embedded in the Qallix seller dashboard and draws on account information you have already provided, keeping the process straightforward.

Who can apply
Eligibility requirements
The application is available within your Qallix seller dashboard. Two conditions are checked automatically before the form becomes accessible.
Active Qallix seller account in good standing
Accounts that are suspended or inactive cannot initiate an application.
ACRA-registered business with a valid, active UEN
Sole Proprietorship, LLP, or Pte. Ltd. — any registered entity is eligible. Individuals selling without business registration are not eligible until an entity is registered with ACRA.
Demonstrable commercial activity
Your business must have been actively trading prior to application. Evidence of ongoing commercial activity across your declared storefronts is required.

How to apply
The application process
The full application is completed within your Qallix seller dashboard. Your account data pre-populates most of the form.
Open the Certification section in your dashboard
Eligibility is checked automatically. If you meet both pre-qualification conditions, the application form opens. Invited sellers will see the section in their dashboard navigation.
Day 1Confirm your account details and upload documents
Most fields are pre-filled from your Qallix account. Review and confirm them, then upload the required verification documents as listed in the portal. All requirements are shown within the form.
Day 1Qallix reviews your application
The Qallix certification team checks all documents for completeness and consistency before submitting to Data Bureau (Singapore). If anything is missing or unclear, you are notified directly with specific actions required — this stage takes up to three business days.
Within 3 business daysCertificate issued. All capabilities activate immediately.
Data Bureau (Singapore) reviews the application and issues the certificate with a unique Certificate ID. Qallix activates your Verified Seller status and all certified seller capabilities the moment the certificate is issued. End-to-end, the process typically completes within 30 business days, subject to document completeness and Data Bureau's review schedule.

What exactly is Data Bureau (Singapore)?
Data Bureau (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is an independent certification authority responsible for issuing the certificate, establishing certification standards, and maintaining the Data Bureau public registry. Qallix is the authorised agency facilitating the application — the certificate is issued by Data Bureau (Singapore), not Qallix.
What documents will I need to provide?
A current ACRA BizFile, a government-issued identity document for the business owner or director, a screenshot showing recent transaction activity, and a declaration of your platform standing. Most other information — UEN, business name, address, storefront URLs — is pre-populated from your Qallix account for you to confirm.
What happens to my documents and data?
Documents submitted through the application are used for verification purposes only. Your identity documents and business records are reviewed by the Qallix certification team and transmitted to Data Bureau (Singapore) as part of the formal application. They are not used for any other purpose or shared with third parties.
Does the buyer risk intelligence feature share my customers' data?
No. The system is designed so that no personal data from your buyers ever leaves your device or reaches Qallix's servers. Only an anonymous signal is submitted and matched. This design satisfies Singapore PDPA and is compliant with the platform policies of the marketplaces supported.
What happens to my certificate if I stop using Qallix?
The certificate is issued by Data Bureau (Singapore) and remains valid for its one-year term regardless of your Qallix account status. However, the certified seller capabilities — which run within the Qallix platform — are no longer accessible if your account is inactive. Renewal of the certificate from Month 13 is processed through Qallix as the appointed agency.
Am I committing to SGD 199 per month indefinitely?
The first 12 months are complimentary for the initial cohort. From Month 13, the ongoing fee is SGD 199 per month. You can choose not to renew — the certificate simply lapses at expiry, and access to the certified seller capabilities is deactivated. There is no minimum term or penalty for not renewing.
Can anyone verify that my certificate is real?
Yes. Every certificate carries a unique Certificate ID and QR code. Any buyer, brand, partner, or platform can verify the current status of your certificate instantly via the Data Bureau public registry — no login required.
How long does the full process take?
The application itself takes one business day to complete. The end-to-end process — including Qallix document review and Data Bureau issuance — typically completes within 30 business days. Incomplete or unclear documents will extend this timeline, which is why the Qallix team reviews your submission before it reaches Data Bureau.
